This still life painting showcases the natural beauty of objects found within the sea. The palette for the painting focused on the unity of colour shared between the objects. The forms the fabric takes within the still life mimics the energy and movement of the ocean, whilst the bottle represents the changing nature of our seas. Itself a product of the oceans, transformed from the coarse sand of our beaches and sea-beds into the glass we see today.
