The centrepiece for this painting focuses on a hand-blown wine bottle that was recovered from a shipwreck. The glass of this bottle has been aged by the years it has spent submerged in the sea, which has created a beautiful pearlescence quality to its surface. This is paired with the natural pearlescence of the sea shell and is complemented by the deep blue ocean hues of the wine glass placed at the front of the composition.
